And?

Prior to Council meetings, the Council publishes supporting documents, including statements from various portfolio holders.  Councillor Arthur Baker, Portfolio Holder for Schools has made a statement in preparation for the next meeting on 13 November, 2013. The fourth paragraph on page two (pupil performance) ends with the sentence:

The progress and achievement of Free School Meals pupils and those with Special Educational Needs remain a challenge. 

We wonder if a section of Coun Baker's statement has been accidentally erased - there doesn't seem to be any information on how this is going to be tackled. Nothing from Tony Hall in his statement as Children's Service portfolio holder either.
